With the growing demand of battery for our daily life, the issue that come alongside with this technology slowly arise as well.
For example, Lithium-based energy storage has increased in popularity for the past few years. The fact that lithium batteries have so many different application makes the development of technology grow really fast, and the demand increased at the same time.
However, not everything about batteries is beneficial for us and this planet that we live on.
Environmental impact is one of the biggest current issues that battery usage, production, transportation, and recycling created.
Another fundamental issue is that the resource on this earth is limited. Therefore, the availability of the resource for manufacturing batteries is also a problem alongside how do we gather those resources.
Some of the issues we gonna discuss include climate change, consumption of natural resources, different types of pollution that might directly impact humans or the environment, and also the issue with recycling used battery.
