Why should we be worry?
Safety for humans is always a big concern in the development of technology.
Even if the technology is super cutting edge, if it is not safe for humans to use it, then it is meaningless.
Same situation for batteries as well. If we look back toward their history of batteries, we can always see different cases regarding the safety of the battery. Some of them are myth and rumor, yet some of the dangers are really real for us.
Using a recent example regarding with li-ion battery. On 2 September 2016, Samsung’s latest smartphone Galaxy Note 7 is recalled due to the defect of its batteries.
These defects caused many Note 7 to overheat and explode. This even caused many airports forbidden passengers to carry Note 7.
