Air acidification
Another issue that is caused by batteries is the air acidification.
Air acidification is the accumulation of acidic substances in the atmosphere. This is caused by the emission of particulate matter.
Particulate matter (PM) is a mixture of very small airborne dust particles. This mixture mostly contains soil, dust, metal particles, organic chemicals, and acid.
PM emission occurs during the manufacturing stage.
These particles will be carried by rain and impact the soil, make the soil acidic, and impact the ecosystem.
