Climate change and global warming
One of the more direct impacts that we can observe is climate change and global warming.
We all know that the cause of climate change, explicitly the increase in the average temperature of Earth, is caused by the increase of greenhouse gases such as CO2, which cause the greenhouse effect.
The manufacturing and transportation of batteries also contribute to the increase of greenhouse gases.
Using lithium iron phosphate battery (LFP) as an example, the manufacturing stage of LFP battery, especially producing materials for the electrodes contribute the most to the climate change impact.
