What are some sign of dangerous battery
And what are some guideline that we can take?
One of the most common danger that we can experience is when the battery overheats or catches on fire.
Heat is always the enemy of battery, this is a sign that chemical energy does not transition to electrical energy, rather transition into heat energy.
Usually, we can observe it by seeing a Li-ion battery overheating, having bulges or even creating a sound of hisses.
In that case, we should immediately remove it from any flammable materials and allow it to burn out.
Another kind of failure that we can observe is poor conductivity when an uneven separator is used, poor conductivity can be caused by dry areas that increase resistance which will generate heat.
