What are some simulation and test?
These tests are usually run by an authorized lab. And there will be a total of 24 samples, 12 that is new and 12 that have been cycled for 50 times already.
The battery has to pass the test without causing any harm or burning within 6 hours.
(T1) Altitude Simulation: This is the test that simulates a low-pressure environment with unpressurized cargo hold at 15000 meter
(T2) Thermal test: This is a test to simulate the extreme temperature situations. It is done by keeping the battery at -40C and +75C for 6 hours
(T3) Vibration: this is a test to simulate vibration that might occur during transportation. It is done by simulate 7Hz to 200Hz for up to 3 hours.
(T4) Shock: This is a test that simulates a shock situation during transportation. This is done by giving G forces relating to battery size.
