How to make sure the battery performs the way we intended them to perform
Now we understand the safety concern related to battery and other factors that might decrease the efficiency of the battery, what can we do to prevent them? Well, that is why we have a battery testing method!
So there are many different types of safety tests that reach the standard. For finished batteries, they must undergo an electrical and a mechanical tests to meet the criteria.
This time, we gonna discuss the Manual of Testing and Criteria Recommendations according to UN 38.3 for the transportation of dangerous goods.
There are 8 criteria: Altitude Simulation, Thermal Test, Vibration, Shock, External Short Circuit, Impact, Overcharging, and Forced Discharge.
